Announcing Auditions for Peter Pan

Ever dreamed of flying away to Never Never Land? Here is your chance! Town Theatre hopes that you “Won’t Grow Up” and join us as we present Peter Pan July 18 – August 3. Shannon Willis Scruggs will direct/choreograph. An audition form is located below. It is recommended that you bring the completed form with you to auditions. If not, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance to get the appropriate paperwork.


Children ages 6 to 12 will audition on Saturday, March 15 at 10:00 AM.
All children will be taught a song. There is no need to prepare an individual piece of music.
Dress comfortably for movement.

Adult and teen auditions will be held Sunday and Monday, March 16 & 17 beginning at 7:30 PM.
Please prepare 16-20 measures of a song that showcases your voice.
An accompanist will be provided. Dress comfortably for movement.

All roles are available and include, but are not limited to:

Peter Pan: the eternal youth who won’t grow up; ability to sound young and innocent vocally with some higher notes a plus; the role of Peter Pan may be filled by an older child, teen or adult – male or female – determined by auditions. Will fly.
Wendy: only daughter of Darlings; sings low A-flat to Treble C. Will fly.
John: eldest Darling boy; sings low A-flat to Treble C. Will fly.
Michael: youngest Darling son; sings low A-flat to Treble C. Will fly.
Mr. Darling: Father; adult male – may or may not portray Captain Hook (baritone).
Mrs. Darling: Mother; adult female – may or may not portray Grown Up Wendy; sings low A-flat to Treble C.
Jane: daughter of Grown Up Wendy; sings low A-flat to Treble C. Will fly.
Smee: Captain Hook’s first mate; comedic actor.
Tiger Lily: Indian Princess; sing low A-flat to high E; dance ability a plus.
The Lost Boys: younger boys; sing low A-flat to C Treble C; speaking roles available; ability to move a plus.
Pirates: male teens and adults; seeking a group of DANCING pirates (teens/adults); speaking roles available for male pirates.
Indian Braves: teens and children with gymnastics and strong dance abilities a plus.
