And the sale goes on...
On Saturday and Sunday, October 6 and 7, the stage of Town Theatre was overflowing with the
any items that had belonged to J. Burrell Sanders, theatre benefactor. At the close of the tag
sale on Sunday, the majority of the items had been sold.
The money from the sale of his estate items will be used to benefit the theatre building.
The top of our priority list is the complete replacement of the windows and doors at the entrance to the
theatre. Obviously this is another major undertaking as we continue to improve the physical
facilities of this historic building and it will be an expensive renovation.
Now, here is where you come in! The items that remain from the sale will certainly not
benefit the theatre if they sit in boxes. We have on display in the lobby and on the
landing above the lobby some of the articles that were not sold. Each item is priced
(and, believe me, they are bargains!).
Please come by the theatre during normal business hours and we will be delighted to show you the
items that can be used as gifts or may find a place in your home.
