Come Celebrate with Town!

It's time for a toast - A Toast to Town! that is!

Don't miss Town Theatre's summer sensation of a show. Join us as we celebrate song and dance - from Broadway to the beach, country to the classics, pop to patriotic, and much, much more.

We’ll journey down memory lane with classics tried and true, showcase the talent of the Midlands and celebrate Town’s future as we present musical moments not yet seen on a Columbia stage. The cast will be directed by Shannon Willis Scruggs and supported by the incomparable Dick Goodwin Quintet.

Join Town favorites Mary Beth Branham (Mame), Rob Sprankle (Peter Pan), Laura Adair and Jason Kinsey (both of Beauty and the Beast fame), Abigail, Nancy Ann and Rachel Smith (Damn Yankees, Gypsy and Cats, respectively), Mike Corvi (Everything But the Kitchen Sink) and Agnes Babb (Singin’ in the Rain). They’ll be joined by Town newcomers Michelle Rivera (seen in Workshop’s Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues), Wes Brax (son of Mary Beth Branham and music student at Florida State University) and Nancy Kana (dancer from USC). A rousing chorale of twelve youngsters completes the cast including Anthony Harvey (The Music Man), Mary Riley Clayton (The Sound of Music), Grace Fanning (The Wizard of Oz) and Imani Ross-Jackson (Peter Pan).

Popular musical selections from Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Hairspray, Spamalot and Les Miserables will be featured alongside tunes that sweep us back to days spent along South Carolina’s coast. We’ll pay tribute to the standards from the Great American Songbook as well as to some Broadway classics that speak of Town’s successful history in musical theatre. We hope you’ll agree – there is much to celebrate!

Show dates are Friday, June 27, through Saturday, July 13. Ticket prices are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors over 65/active duty military/full time college students and $12 for youth under 18. (This production is not part of the season membership.) The box office will open for ticket reservations on Wednesday, June 18.
